Downloading manuals and audits for offline access
Who is this article for?
Users who want to access manuals, policies, and audits offline using the mobile app.
No special access or permissions are required.
The mobile app allows you to download manuals, policies, and audits for offline access. You must be online to download content before it can be accessed without an internet connection.
This article explains where you can enable the offline access.
1. Downloading records
1.1. Manuals
To download manuals:
- Open the mobile app.
- Confirm you are online.
- Open the Menu from the bottom navigation bar.
- Tap Work/Manuals.
- Select the manual you want to access offline.
- Tap Download for offline.
- Confirm the download when prompted.
Once downloaded, the manual is saved to your device and available offline. You can delete the downloaded version at any time if required.
1.2. Audits
To download audits:
- Open the mobile app.
- Confirm you are online.
- Open the Menu from the bottom navigation bar.
- Tap Audits.
- Allow the app to load all audits assigned to you.
- Tap the Cloud icon in the top-right corner.
This will open the Sync Offline Audit page. - Select the audit or questionnaire you want to download.
When the download completes, a green dot indicates the audit is up to date and available offline.
2. Using the app in offline mode
When your device loses internet access, a banner appears at the top of the app indicating that you are in offline mode. The dashboard updates to display offline-related information.
2.1. Manuals
To access offline manuals and policies:
- Open Work/Manuals.
- Select one of the manuals you previously downloaded.
- Use the table of contents to navigate to the required policy, procedure, or guide.
2.2. Audits
To access offline audits:
- Return to the dashboard using the Home button or main menu.
- Confirm the app indicates you are in offline mode.
- Tap View to see available offline audits.
- Select an audit and tap View again to begin.
You can complete audits while offline. When your device reconnects to the internet, completed audits automatically sync back to the server and the app notifies you once syncing is complete.
